Crowley Museum & Nature Center Summer Camp June 29th

Crowley Museum & Nature Center Summer Camp June 29th … Bees and Bee Hives/ Honey Collecting…Guest Speaker Deb Blount: Beekeeping … Bee Walk… Honey recipe’s and craft… beeswax candles, and other honey by-product…

Quite a day for wildlife at Crowley Museum and Nature Center !!! Started out viewing a Crested Caracara on a small snag in the pasture…..quite a thrill as there are only 250 pair in Florida…. as I came back from the Welcome Center there were four doe’s munching away, then later in the day I saw Mom and her twin fawns, still holding spots but fading fast….

Checking on my mulch job, a huge Red Shoulder Hawk sat in the snag at the vineyard, with Sandhill Cranes singing in the background…. Gopher Tortuous were roaming around the Children’s Discovery Path and the Museum, till it became to hot and they went down into their borough ….

Way Cool !!!!!!!!!
